Life must be enjoyed. Some days are hard. Some times are hard. But when we can, we must, enjoy life. The idea behind  "Genre Shoppe" was to have a daily reminder to enjoy life on everyday products like coffee mugs, desk mats, or phone cases in the form of movie and pop culture references.  

All the concepts on Genre Shoppe are all original customized art graphics inspired by, and paying homage, to some of the greatest films and beloved pop culture references, and steeped deeply in the horror and sci-fi genres. Movies and pop-culture is a favorite way to enjoy life, and having a "HAL 9000" interface or a "Flux Capacitor" on your phone case can be your personal reminder to have a good time and enjoy your life whenever you can.

Genre Shoppe started as a hobby project on Etsy and after hundreds of products sold, dozens of 5 star reviews, star sellers status, and a couple "hit" products, we're now giving it its own site so we can lower those price$.

Everything in the Genre Shoppe is made to order, so there's not 10,000 items of overhead waiting to be bought, and also not going to a landfill when it's not sold. Not here. These babies only get made when you order one. One beloved object at a time.
